BRUSSELS BAZAAR - NEIGHBORHOOD
Brussels is buzzing ... more than ever ... If you want a walk without a specific theme, then you've come to the right place. We list the neighborhoods where we are at home.
The beautiful city center with the fantastic Grand Place and the tourist attractions around it. We also explore the Fishmarket / Saint-Catherine and Saint-Géry.
Be sure to indicate here whether Brussels is known! And rest assured, we have also been able to surprise a lot of residents!
The working-class neighborhood of Brussels has grown into a thriving hotspot with many hip initiatives.
We walk around the Justice Palace (lower area), the Flea Market and the Rue Haute et Blaes.
The Antiques and Chocolate District of Brussels. Cute and charming, but also cozy. We expand somewhat to the surrounding Egmont Park and the Law Courts (upper area).
AROUND THE CANAL
Here we mainly walk near the canal and we discover the district around the Fishmarket and Saint-Catherine and a part of Lower-Molenbeek.
Known as the 'hellhole' of Brussels but we think this is not true at all. Here we find surprising gems from the industrial past of the municipality and we are writing a new history: that of renewal and innovation.
TOUR & TAXIS
Almost everyone knows the site, but a lot is happening here. Park L28, Gare Maritime, Greenbizz and the Tivoli district. All new sites in this neighborhood.
SABLON - MAROLLES
Combine these two neighborhoods and discover the difference ... Although we have to put that into perspective in the meantime, the Marolles are no longer so poor, the Sablon no longer so chic ... But they still both have their own identity, a stone's throw from each other.
The area around Bockstael, a number of beautiful and new green parks and the surprising cemetery of Laeken. And all this in the king's backyard.
